Tony Smith
Ra'ah
Pastor Tony Smith is the founder and dedicated leader of The Way of Yah Synagogue of Yahusha. What began as a small gathering in his home on January 25, 2003—with just ten people seeking truth and connection—has grown into a thriving community centered on walking in obedience to the Most High, Yahuah.
From the beginning, Pastor Smith has had a deep passion for scripture and a commitment to teaching the laws, statutes, and commandments found in the word. His straightforward and heartfelt teaching style has helped guide the congregation on a path of spiritual growth and understanding. Over time, under his leadership, the fellowship moved from identifying as a traditional church to embracing its identity as a Synagogue—honoring the Shabbat, keeping the Feast days, observing dietary laws, and living by the precepts found in the scriptures.
As the community grew, so did the need for space. Pastor Smith led the congregation through several relocations, eventually overseeing the purchase and renovation of our permanent home, completed in September 2014. Known for teaching with both clarity and conviction, Pastor Smith encourages everyone to live out their faith—not just in worship, but in everyday actions, how we speak, eat, gather, and care for one another. The synagogue today is made up of people from all walks of life, brought together by a shared desire for truth and a sincere pursuit of righteousness.
Pastor Smith continues to lead The Way of Yah with purpose and humility, helping believers grow in the Abary language, stay grounded in the commandments, and follow the example of Yahusha with integrity, love, and devotion.
